These terms apply to bookings, communications, and services provided by Alpaca Adventures (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a mobile alpaca event service. By booking with us, using our website, or communicating with us, you agree to the terms below.

Our Services

We bring live alpacas to your event location for photos, interaction, and entertainment. Alpaca selfies are included at every event. Services are provided by appointment and subject to availability.

Mobile Messaging Terms

Alpaca Adventures may offer SMS and MMS messaging related to booking requests, quotes, appointment scheduling, event confirmations, service updates, customer support, and, if you separately opt in, promotional or marketing updates.

  • Program name: Alpaca Adventures mobile messaging.
  • Opt-in: You may opt in by checking the optional text message consent box on our booking form and submitting the form with your phone number.
  • Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your request, booking activity, and communication preferences.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt-out: Reply STOP to cancel or unsubscribe at any time. After you reply STOP, we may send one final confirmation message.
  • Help: Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (530) 317-3747 or [email protected].
  • Consent: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
  • Carriers: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Booking & Deposit

A $150 deposit is required to reserve and confirm your date. Your date is not held until the deposit is received. The remaining balance and any applicable fees are due as agreed at the time of booking.

Pricing & Travel

  • Corporate events are billed at $250 per hour.
  • Weddings, birthdays, photoshoots, and other private events are quoted individually.
  • The first 100 miles of travel are included. Additional travel fees may apply for events beyond 100 miles from our base in the Janesville, CA area.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. Specific cancellation, deposit, and refund terms for your booking will be confirmed at the time of reservation.

Weather

Many events go ahead in a range of conditions, but for the safety and comfort of the animals and guests, we may work with you to adjust timing, relocate to a covered area, or reschedule in the event of severe weather.

Animal Interaction & Safety

Our alpacas are gentle and well cared for. For everyone’s safety, guests agree to follow our team’s instructions during the event. Interactions with the animals are at your and your guests’ own risk, and adults are responsible for supervising children at all times.

Client Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, accessible, and reasonably level area for the alpacas;
  • Obtain any permits or venue permissions required for your event;
  • Ensure guests treat the animals and handlers with care and respect.

Photography

We may take photos or video at events for our portfolio and marketing. If you prefer we not use images from your event, let us know in writing before your event date.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpaca Adventures is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the booking.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
