A lifelong animal lover, an award-winning breeder, and a herd of gentle alpacas who love to make people smile.
Stacey Payne grew up in Long Beach, California - a long way from where she’d eventually find her purpose. For most of her career she worked as a substance abuse and mental health counselor, sitting with people in their hardest moments and helping them find a way through.
In 2017, alpacas entered the picture. What began as a bucket-list item quickly turned into something more. She started buying foundation animals, learning the trade, and building bloodlines - and a private passion grew into a life’s work.
Today, Stacey shares that same calm joy in a brand-new way: by bringing her gentle, beloved alpacas directly to you - to weddings, parties, corporate days, and community events of every kind.
“They have this peaceful, child-like innocence. I couldn’t imagine life without them.”- Stacey Payne, Owner
Mornings start before sunrise with coffee and bottle-feeding the herd’s youngest. Days are spent feeding, training, shearing, and caring for every animal personally - and Stacey knows each one by name, along with their personalities, bloodlines, and favorite treats.
Her background as a counselor still shapes everything she does: quietly, intentionally, and with the belief that being around gentle animals can reach something in people that nothing else can.
In 2023, two of her alpacas brought home championship ribbons from the AOA National Fleece Show - a huge win for a small breeder competing against operations many times its size.
Three quiet rules that shape every booking, every event, and every animal in our care.
